Higher speed services are coming

Opticomm has recently announced a program to refresh and upgrade its network, delivering a minimum of 1Gbps capability and improved performance to all communities over the next three years. This represents a significant investment, with works spanning more than 700 communities.

As part of this uplift, we have also introduced 2Gbps and 4Gbps services. These higher-speed services will be progressively enabled as network upgrades are completed, with availability expected to commence in communities from late 2026. Retail Service Providers will then be able to bring corresponding plans to market.
