Major outage notifications & information

Opticomm, as a telecommunications carrier, is committed to complying with the Telecommunications (Customer Communications for Outages) Industry Standard 2024 (the Standard), effective from 31 December 2024.

Our commitments during outages:

Timely notifications

We’ll notify affected customers in line with the timeline required under the Standard, and provide details on the outage, including the cause, impacted services, and estimated restoration time.

Regular updates

We’ll keep customers informed throughout the outage, including any significant, material changes.

Restoration notices

Once services are restored, affected customers will be promptly notified.
